The copy protection if active will cause huge numbers of enemy spawns, even in areas where enemies don’t spawn. I can’t remember if there’s supposed to be an anti-piracy warning screen first. WebA lot of the fake screens made recently take inspiration from the screens of Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3, which took the already creepy Game Over screens and added the anti-piracy message onto them.
