I'd like to start milking the mama but she is a first time freshener. I might want to add I'm new to goats as well. Any advice on how to approach her and help her (as well ... WebWe have 1 Holstein 1st time freshener. The 7L tank won’t hold 2 quarters worth of milk so bring an extra bucket. Haven’t tried it on the goats yet. The 1st time I used it I pulled one of the plugs off the cord. Hubby fixed it. So not made very heavy duty. As long as there are 2 people it did cut down our milking time quite a bit.
