WebI've been able to get him into an awkward canter a few times, but I've had to run him into it and he seemed to not understand a canter signal (outside rein + outside heel). Well, we recently moved to a new barn with a bigger arena. I was trotting him in two-point recently and for the hell of it, decided to see if I could get him to canter.
