Web25 mrt. 2024 · The Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) has released a new list of fishing vessels flagged to India and Sri Lanka that have allegedly carried out illegal, unregulated, and unreported (IUU) fishing within its area of jurisdiction. WebIOTC records revealed none of the 13 vessels had ever been registered on the IOTC record of authorised vessels. Investigations found documents provided during inspection were deemed to be fraudulent and these 13 vessels, including SRI FU FA 888, had never been registered or authorised to fish by Belize.
